Contact your legislator and let them know they should support SB 109 to ensure that gifted students are identified and served.   SB 109 codifies case law set by Judge Sherlock recognizing the requirements for support and assistance to teachers in identifying gifted and talented students and meeting their needs, as well as providing a framework for a full range of alternatives for addressing student needs.
